Preferred means of expression. Fundamental theme, landscape: the sea, the mountains, the city. Colourful and luminous style. Figurative-abstract and impressionist.

Landscapes and imaginings. Preference for large format. Expressive, colourful matter. Employing an impressionist abstract figuration, mostly with palette-knife technique.

Inks

Mixed expressive techniques, resolved in serial inks. Themes around ideas, stories, traditions, philosophy and imaginings. Developed through drawings of abstract forms, where figuration reinforces the impression of drawing and colour.

Sculpture

Corten steel, brass and copper marked the beginnings of my sculptural work, with the bullfighting mural at Ventas Metro station in Madrid. Then; forms with iron and brass wire, wood and pigments alongside other diverse materials gave rise to representations of musical-inspired object forms — guitars, saxophones, violins — and assemblies with polychrome woods creating puzzles of movable, changing harmonic forms symbolising strange games with no real existence.

Avispa Verde

Serial inks of conceptual character, through expressive geometric forms on diverse themes, applying mixed collage techniques. Created together with jewellery designer Sara Fernández, with whom the La Avispa Verde art group was formed.
